Manajemen Mutu Kurikulum Berbasis Pesantren dalam Meningkatkan Daya Saing Madrasah

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality management of pesantren-based curricula and its contribution to improving madrasah competitiveness. The research employed a qualitative approach with a multisite case study design conducted at Pesantren A, Pesantren B, and Pesantren C from February to July 2025. Research subjects were selected purposively and included pesantren leaders, madrasah principals, vice principals for curriculum affairs, quality assurance teams, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, followed by within-site and cross-site analysis. The findings show that pesantren-based curriculum quality management is implemented through integrated planning, organizing, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement. Madrasah competitiveness is strengthened when national and pesantren curricula are managed as an integrated system supported by effective leadership, clear coordination, consistent implementation, and evaluation-based improvement.
