Abstract

This research aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and evaluation of resource-sharing based quality management strategies in Integrated Islamic Schools (Sekolah Islam Terpadu/SIT) to improve educational service quality. This qualitative case study was conducted at an Integrated Islamic School under an Islamic Education Foundation in Yogyakarta from January to June 2026. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies involving the foundation leaders, school principals, vice principals, internal quality assurance teams, teachers, and school committee representatives. Data analysis used an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through triangulation and member checking. The findings reveal that quality management is implemented through systematic planning stages including needs identification, resource mapping, and scheduling of joint facility utilization. Implementation covers three aspects: shared infrastructure utilization (laboratories, libraries, multimedia rooms), human resource collaboration, and integrated management information systems. Evaluation is conducted through semester evaluation meetings and user satisfaction surveys. Supporting factors include leadership commitment, clear regulations, collaboration awareness, and ukhuwah spirit, while inhibiting factors include budget limitations, differing unit needs, and limited policy socialization. This research contributes theoretical enrichment to Islamic education management through collaborative efficiency and practical managerial guidance for foundations and school principals.
