Abstract
This study aims to enhance reading literacy skills through the planning and utilization of a pojok baca (reading corner) for fourth-grade students at SDK Nuabosi. The research was conducted at SDK Nuabosi, Ende Regency, in 2024. The research is a descriptive qualitative study, with the fourth-grade students of SDK Nuabosi as the subjects. Data were collected using observation sheets, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques involved data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the pojok baca plays a crucial role in fostering and improving the reading skills of fourth-grade students at SDK Nuabosi. With the availability of the pojok baca, students can use it as a reading facility and a comfortable, attractive space to enhance their interest in reading. The pojok baca is managed by both teachers and students, aiming to introduce students to enjoyable learning resources. The utilization of the pojok baca in SDK Nuabosi is part of the School Literacy Movement (Gerakan Literasi Sekolah - GLS), with a routine 15-minute reading session before lessons and as a reference and discussion tool during learning activities.
