Abstract

The research aims to enhance student literacy at SDK Kekajodho. The type of research employed is descriptive qualitative research, utilizing literature review methods and data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The observation was conducted to identify the literacy issues present at SDK Kekajodho. Based on interviews with the principal, classroom teachers, and subject teachers, it was explained that follow-up actions are necessary to improve literacy at SDK Kekajodho. One of the follow-up actions implemented is through the Reading Corner Program. The results of this study show that the implementation of the reading corner can improve student literacy, increase students' reading interest, expand their knowledge and understanding, and assist teachers in creating more varied learning experiences.
